ACID (Database Transactions)
ACID is the set of four properties, atomicity, consistency, isolation and durability, that guarantee database transactions are processed reliably.
What is ACID (Database Transactions)?
A transaction that meets ACID either completes fully or not at all, leaves data valid, does not interfere with other transactions, and survives crashes once committed. Moving money between two bank accounts, which debits one and credits the other, is the classic example of a single transaction.
