AI Literacy
AI literacy is having the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to use AI systems in an informed way and to be aware of their opportunities, risks and possible harms.
What is AI Literacy?
Since 2 February 2025 the EU AI Act has required providers and deployers to take measures to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among their staff and others operating AI systems on their behalf.
How it works
Organisations meet the duty through training tailored to staff roles and the AI systems they use.
