Data Loss Prevention (DLP)

Data loss prevention is the set of tools and processes that detect and stop sensitive data leaving an organisation without authorisation.

What is Data Loss Prevention (DLP)?

Network DLP inspects data moving across the corporate network; storage DLP finds and controls sensitive files at rest, including in the cloud; endpoint DLP runs on staff devices to block copying to USB drives, file-sharing apps or the clipboard. Deployment should start with a review of what data matters and where the risks are.
