Distributed LRIC and Distributed SAC (DLRIC and DSAC)
DLRIC and DSAC are cost standards used by Ofcom that allocate common costs to individual products to set floors and ceilings for regulated prices.
What is Distributed LRIC and Distributed SAC (DLRIC and DSAC)?
Long-run incremental cost (LRIC) is the cost of adding a whole service; stand-alone cost (SAC) is the cost of providing it alone. Distributed versions share costs common to a group of services across them. DLRIC typically acts as a price floor and DSAC as a ceiling in BT's regulatory accounts.
