Elliptic Curve Key Agreement (ECKA)
Elliptic curve key agreement is a method by which two parties each combine their private key with the other's public key to arrive at the same shared secret, without ever sending it.
What is Elliptic Curve Key Agreement (ECKA)?
It is the elliptic curve form of the Diffie-Hellman exchange, devised in 1976. The resulting shared secret (ShS) is used to derive session keys. In eSIM, the eUICC and SM-DP+ use one-time ECKA key pairs so that each download has fresh keys.
