Jailbreak
A jailbreak is a prompt or technique designed to get an AI model to bypass its safety rules and produce content it was trained to refuse.
What is Jailbreak?
Jailbreaks use role-play, obfuscation, many-shot examples or automated searches. Developers patch known jailbreaks, but new ones continue to appear.
How it works
Attackers frame requests so that the model's safety training does not recognise them as harmful.
