A minimal-risk AI system is one, such as a spam filter or video-game AI, that the EU AI Act places under no specific new obligations because it poses little risk.
What is Minimal-Risk AI System?
Most AI systems fall here. Providers may voluntarily follow codes of conduct, and the general AI literacy duty still applies.
How it works
If a system is not prohibited, high-risk or subject to transparency duties, it is minimal risk.
