Network Slice Subnet (NSS)

A network slice subnet is one part of an end-to-end network slice, such as its radio, transport or core portion, that can be managed on its own.

What is Network Slice Subnet (NSS)?

3GPP models a network slice as being built from subnets. A network slice subnet instance (NSSI) is a deployed, running example of a subnet. Dividing slices this way lets different network domains, or even different suppliers, provide parts of a slice.
