Primary Synchronisation Signal (PSS)
The primary synchronisation signal is a known signal broadcast by a cell so that devices can find it and line up their timing.
What is Primary Synchronisation Signal (PSS)?
Devices search for the PSS, and the secondary synchronisation signal, to detect cells, synchronise in time and frequency, and identify the cell. They can then read the PBCH.
