AI System Deployer
Under the EU AI Act, a deployer is a person or organisation that uses an AI system under its authority, other than for purely personal non-professional activity.
What is AI System Deployer?
Deployers of high-risk AI must use it according to instructions, assign competent human oversight, monitor it, keep logs, inform affected workers and, for public bodies and some others, carry out a fundamental rights impact assessment.
How it works
Deployers put organisational measures in place and report risks or incidents to providers and authorities.
