AI System Importer
Under the EU AI Act, an importer is an EU-based person or organisation that places on the EU market an AI system bearing the name or trademark of a provider established outside the EU.
What is AI System Importer?
Importers must check that a high-risk system has undergone conformity assessment, has documentation and CE marking and that an authorised representative has been appointed.
