Data Radio Bearer (DRB)

A Data Radio Bearer is a logical channel over the radio link that carries a device's user data with a particular quality of service.

What is Data Radio Bearer (DRB)?

Radio bearers are the connections set up between a device and the base station. Signalling radio bearers carry control messages and data radio bearers carry user traffic. A device can have several DRBs at once, each set up for different quality-of-service needs. In 5G the SDAP layer decides which traffic flows go onto which DRB.
