Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS)

The DMRS is a known signal embedded in LTE and 5G transmissions that lets the receiver estimate the radio channel and demodulate data.

What is Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS)?

Because the receiver knows what the DMRS should look like, it can work out how the channel has distorted it and correct the data.
