eSIM Certificates and Keys
GSMA eSIM specifications name each certificate and key with a pattern such as CERT.DP.TLS or SK.EUICC.ECDSA that shows its type, owner and purpose.
What is eSIM Certificates and Keys?
The first part gives the type: CERT is a certificate, SK a private (secret) key, PK a public key, and otPK/otSK a one-time key pair used for a single session. The middle part names the owner: CI (certificate issuer, the GSMA root), EUM (eUICC manufacturer), EUICC, DP (the SM-DP+) or DS (the SM-DS), sometimes with a role such as "auth" or "pb" (profile binding). The last part gives the algorithm or use: ECDSA for signatures, ECKA for key agreement, or TLS for securing connections.
