Fibre Termination Box (FTB)
A fibre termination box is a small box at the outside of a house where the drop cable ends, giving engineers a test point without entering the home.
What is Fibre Termination Box (FTB)?
The FTB is fitted at the entrance of each single-family home. It marks the boundary where the outside drop cable meets the cabling inside the property, and lets engineers test the line from outside.
