Fronthaul
Fronthaul is the link between a base station's radio units and its baseband processing, usually over fibre.
What is Fronthaul?
CPRI carries digitised radio samples and needs very high bandwidth. eCPRI splits functions differently and runs over Ethernet, cutting bandwidth needs.
