Internet of Things (IoT)
The Internet of Things is the network of physical objects, such as sensors, meters and vehicles, that connect to the internet to gather and exchange data.
What is Internet of Things (IoT)?
IoT devices range from smart meters and asset trackers to industrial sensors and connected cars. Many send small amounts of data now and then and need long battery life, which has led to dedicated connectivity technologies such as NB-IoT and LTE-M. Regulators take an interest in IoT through numbering, spectrum and product security rules.
