Mixed Bundling

Mixed bundling is when customers can buy either a package of products, usually at a discount, or each product on its own.

What is Mixed Bundling?

Telecoms providers commonly use mixed bundling, for example selling broadband, TV and phone together at a lower combined price while also offering each separately. Competition authorities look at whether bundle discounts by a dominant firm could exclude rivals that cannot match the full bundle.
