Open RAN (O-RAN)
Open RAN is an approach to mobile radio networks that uses open interfaces so operators can mix equipment and software from different vendors.
What is Open RAN (O-RAN)?
The O-RAN Alliance specifies interfaces between radio units, distributed units and central units, and a RAN intelligent controller (RIC) that hosts apps to optimise the network.
