Outdoor Fibre Cabinet
An outdoor fibre cabinet is a weatherproof street enclosure that houses fibre terminations, splices and splitters.
What is an outdoor fibre cabinet?
Outdoor cabinets usually have a polycarbonate or similar non-metallic shell, base and door, with stainless steel fittings. They are built to resist weather, splashes and corrosion so that the equipment inside stays protected for many years. The outdoor FDT is the most common FTTH cabinet.
