Terminal Box (TB)

A terminal box is a small enclosure at the entrance of a customer's premises where the outdoor drop cable ends and the indoor cable begins.

What is Terminal Box (TB)?

Separating outdoor and indoor cabling at a terminal box makes maintenance easier, because either side can be replaced or tested separately. The term does a similar job to the fibre termination box.
