Transparency in AI
Transparency in AI means providing meaningful information about an AI system, such as that it is being used, what it does, how it was built and its limitations.
What is Transparency in AI?
Transparency is one of the OECD AI Principles and runs through the EU AI Act, from instructions for use for high-risk systems to disclosure of chatbots and deepfakes and training-content summaries for general-purpose models.
How it works
It is delivered through documentation, labels, notices to users and disclosures to regulators.
