Turing Test
The Turing test is a test proposed by Alan Turing in 1950 in which a machine is judged intelligent if a human interrogator cannot reliably tell it apart from a human in text conversation.
What is Turing Test?
Modern chatbots have passed versions of it, which has shown that imitating human conversation is not the same as general intelligence.
How it works
An interrogator converses with a hidden human and a machine and guesses which is which.
