User-to-Network Interface (UNI)

The user-to-network interface is the demarcation point at which a customer's equipment connects to a provider's network service.

What is User-to-Network Interface (UNI)?

On a fibre line, the UNI is typically the Ethernet port on the ONT. Wholesale products such as VULA define what the provider delivers at the UNI, and the customer or retail provider is responsible for equipment beyond it.
