VDSL Vectoring

Vectoring is a technique that cancels the crosstalk between copper pairs in a VDSL2 cable, so that lines can run near their maximum speed.

What is VDSL Vectoring?

The DSLAM measures how each line interferes with the others in the bundle and pre-distorts the signals to cancel it out. Vectoring can raise speeds substantially but works best when one operator controls all the lines in the cable.
