Wayleave

A wayleave is an agreement in which a landowner permits a network operator to install and access apparatus on their land, usually for a payment.

What is Wayleave?

In the UK, telecoms wayleaves are governed by the Electronic Communications Code, which allows operators to seek court-imposed rights if agreement cannot be reached.
