Antenna Array

An antenna array is a group of individual radiating elements arranged and fed together so that they act as one antenna with a shaped radiation pattern.

What is Antenna Array?

Each element of the array radiates part of the signal. By choosing the spacing between elements and the phase of the signal fed to each, engineers can shape and point the combined beam. Arrays range from a few elements in a traditional mobile panel antenna to 64, 128 or more in massive MIMO antennas.
