Authorised Representative under the EU AI Act
An authorised representative is an EU-based person or organisation appointed in writing by a non-EU provider to act on its behalf for EU AI Act obligations.
What is Authorised Representative under the EU AI Act?
Non-EU providers of high-risk AI systems and GPAI models must appoint one. The representative keeps documentation available for authorities and cooperates with them.
How it works
The provider gives the representative a written mandate defining its tasks.
