eNodeB (eNB)
An eNodeB is a 4G LTE base station.
What is eNodeB (eNB)?
The eNodeB ("evolved Node B") is the radio node that connects devices to an LTE network. Unlike 3G base stations, it combines the radio and radio-network-control functions in one unit and connects directly to the Evolved Packet Core. Together, eNodeBs make up the E-UTRAN.
