NR NodeB (gNB)

A gNB is a 5G base station that gives devices access over New Radio.

What is NR NodeB (gNB)?

The gNB is the 5G equivalent of the LTE eNodeB. It connects to the 5G Core (or, in non-standalone mode, works alongside an LTE eNodeB) and can be split into a Centralised Unit, Distributed Units and Radio Units.
