New Radio (NR)

New Radio is the radio access technology defined by 3GPP for 5G.

What is New Radio (NR)?

NR works across a wide range of frequencies, from below 1 GHz up to millimetre-wave bands. It uses flexible subcarrier spacing, massive MIMO and beamforming, and is designed for faster speeds, lower latency and more connections than LTE.
