Network Cabinet

A network cabinet is a ventilated equipment rack enclosure that houses active network equipment such as switches, routers and servers.

What is a network cabinet?

Unlike passive fibre cabinets, network cabinets are designed for powered equipment, so ventilation and cooling matter. They are mainly used in data centres, exchanges and communications rooms.
