Operator ID
An Operator ID is the registration number of the person or organisation responsible for a drone, which must be labelled on the aircraft.
What is Operator ID?
In the UK, from 2026, it is needed for drones of 100 g or more with a camera and for any drone of 250 g or more, and costs an annual fee; EU member states issue equivalent operator registrations.
